One of the things ALL professionals and experts face is objectively seeing what they do and finding the most effective ways of communicating that in fresh ways that speak to people.


I'm no exception. I'm so deeply connected to what I do - I live and breathe it passionately, and so one of the things that I get most excited about is when my clients put fresh words around it - because it helps me see yet another perspective and adds another layer of why this work matters. 

That happened to me today. At 3am, so it turns out! 

I couldn't sleep. My youngest son woke after having nightmares and I was up for a few hours helping him settle down. Usually, I don't jump on tech during the night. 

But last night I had a flash of inspiration about something else and so I wanted to capture that.

Before I closed down I jumped on LinkedIn and saw this from one of my inspiring Marketing Me Alumni, as a post encouraging her network to attend an event I recently presented at. 



This made my day (well technically my night) - because I just loved the flow of ideas around the role of being "your authentic business self" and how it impacts on clarity, connection and ultimately the ability to make deals. 

The timing and verbiage of this is so spot on.
